Concerning Fuchs's request to find some music manuscripts for his collection, asking Fuchs to send, through Despréaux or otherwise, a detailed list of all musicians whose manuscripts he still lacks and that Mendelssohn will try to find some, saying that Fuchs's Beethoven sketchbook is making a sensation among musicians in Paris, and asking if he has Rossini yet: "Er ist zu haben."
